TOURING PARK TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
Please book at least a day in advance.
We do not normally accept groups. Please call for further advice.
Telephone bookings can be made at any time during normal office hours (09.00 – 17.00). If we don’t answer the phone, please leave a message on the answer machine, stating your name, contact details and what you require. The message should be clear, and will be dealt with as soon as is possible. If we don’t get back to you, it will be because we have not understood the number.
A non-refundable deposit equivalent to one nights stay will be taken at the time of booking. The remaining fees will be taken on the morning of your arrival. A Booking confirmation email will be sent, along with detailed Terms and Conditions and the current Park Rules, for your accepted booking(s). If no confirmation email has been received by the end of the day that you booked, please contact us again. Please check you junk/spam folders prior to contacting us.
All bookings are only valid once basic terms have been agreed (at the time of booking) and a confirmation email has been sent.
No booking reminder will be sent. It is your responsibility to know when you are coming.
Changes to the booking must be agreed at least one day prior to arrival. Any changes not agreed prior to arrival may result in the booking being cancelled and no refund or credit note given.
The management reserve the right to refuse any booking which they consider unacceptable.
Tents will only be accepted during the months of April through to September, with a maximum size of 7m x 3m (including extensions). This is to allow the grass to recover for the following season.
MOTORHOME and CAMPERVAN AWNINGS
Motorhome and large Campervan awnings are not accepted. Small Campervan’s (eg VW Transporter size) and awnings are accepted. Please see the Tariff page for pricing.
If you are a group, but book individually and it is apparent you are a group, then you may be asked to leave.
A maximum of 2 Backpackers, cyclists or Motorcyclists will be accepted per booking.
If you cancel within 7 days prior to arrival, or you don’t turn up, any remaining fees will be taken. This will be taken from the card you made the booking with. If your reason is outwith your control and verifiable (vehicle breakdown, accident, ferry cancellation etc.), a credit note will be given. We strongly advise that if there is any chance you may cancel within the stated time frames, that you take out any relevant holiday/travel insurance.
Unless by prior arrangement, pitches will be available from 13.00 on the day of arrival and we ask that you vacate your pitch by 11.00am on the day of departure. You should aim to arrive before 19.00 where possible. Arrivals will not be accepted after 19.00. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you will arrive after 19.00, e.g. you are delayed due to traffic or a breakdown, please let us know as soon as possible. Ideally, Please check in first and then go for something to eat or sight-seeing.
During the winter months (November – March), arrivals should be before 16:00, due to lighting conditions.
We welcome well behaved dogs onto our site, but they must be kept on a lead (where applicable) and under control at all times.
All visitors are requested to read, or re-read, through the “Park Rules” on arrival and follow them during their stay.
To enable us to maintain our high standards of cleanliness, the shower Block (including the Camper’s Kitchen) will be closed between 11:00 and 12:30 daily. Sorry for any inconvenience.
