COVID-19 Procedure Summary

Before arrival

If you are booked, please confirm arrival time as soon as is possible. Full payment will be taken on the morning of arrival where possible, to reduce contact on arrival. It is recommended you bring any supplies you require (non-perishable food, toilet paper, drink, etc) with you. This will minimise any impact on the local shops.

On arrival

Arrivals are to be between 13:00 and 17:00, and no arrivals will be accepted after 19:00. Please park at reception, stay in your vehicle and call 01631 740329 if not already seen. A member of staff will meet you and confirm details, while maintaining social distancing requirements. You will then be shown (as required) the recycling and waste point, the hand sanitising stations, Chemical disposal point, water fill points and grey water disposal areas. Where required, you will be told the timings that the Shower Block and Campers Kitchen will be closed for cleaning.

During your stay

You are expected to follow all current Scottish Government Regulations and Guidance during your stay at Achindarroch Touring Park. This includes all social distancing and regular hand sanitising. As the site is quite open, there are no ‘pinch points’ that do not allow for any social distancing to be achieved. Friends will not be allowed to visit during your stay.

Showers and Toilets (if open)

Although the shower block will be open to all guests, those guests whose units are ‘self-contained’, should use their own facilities rather than the parks where possible. This is to minimise the number of guests using the showers and toilets and thus reducing the risk of infection. You must wear a Face Mask while in the facilities, unless what you are doing (washing or showering etc.) means you can’t. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Children over 13 may use the facilities unaccompanied but must be made aware of the requirements of this Procedure and adhere to them. Please be as quick as you can to reduce waiting time for the other campers. The facilities will be closed between 10:30 and 12:30 for cleaning.

Campers Kitchen (if open)

The Camper’s Kitchen will be limited to 2 people at a time due to its size. You must wear a Face Mask while in the facilities.

Pods

The Pods will be available to rent, however, entry will not be before 16:00 and you must leave no later than 10:00. This is to allow the Pod to be suitably ventilated and then cleaned for the next guest. You must bring their own plates, cups, knives, forks and spoons etc if required.
